The math concept I’m focusing on for this reflection of learning is triangle angle theorems. I learned what the sum of the interior angles is, and how to find an angle measure using exterior or interior angles. What I’ve learned is valuable to my future since I’ll use this information in college for GED courses.
Triangle angle theorems involves solving for an angle by either using two given interior angle measures to find the third interior angle or the exterior angle. I solved for an unknown variable using two or more given interior or exterior angle measures that were equations. I learned how to find exterior angles using remote interior angles, which were all represented by algebraic equations as well as using the three interior angle measures represented by equations to find out what the angle measures were. This work tells me that I’m a logical thinker as well as a visual learner since I didn’t have to put much thought into solving the problems because all you had to do was follow the steps to find whatever you’re looking for and see which answers made sense.
